La Roque Alric is one of the smallest villages in the Vaucluse, with fewer than 60 people, but certainly one of the prettiest. Hanging from a rock, sheltered from the Mistral, La Roque Alric offers a splendid panorama view on the Dentelles de Montmirail ridge. The village is a veritable decor of Provencal crib.
Village resources are mostly agricultural and there are few accommodations for vacationers. This is the starting point for scenic hikes in some of the most beautiful landscapes of Vaucluse. La Roque Alric looks over the Dentelles ridge, and a walk just a bit towards by the village Le Barroux and you will enjoy beautiful landscapes of vineyards and a splendid view of the Mont Ventoux and the Plaine du Comtat.
